Brutal charge: Swedish horse police trample anti-Nazi rally

 

At least 10 people were injured in the Swedish city of Malmö after local police unleashed a mounted charge at participants of a rally against Sweden’s neo-Nazi party. Clashes with police erupted as anti-fascist activists attempted to block a rival rally.

Kafka is an anti-fascist research group on the extreme right-wing movements in the Netherlands. The results of this research are published on the website (click on read more for link) and in magazines. With their publications, they hope to contribute to a good insight into the conduct of right-wing extremists and their organizations. Tear gas, clashes as anti-nationalist rally in Italy turns violent.

Hundreds of people took to the streets of Bologna at a rally against the far-right Forza Nuova party, who ran a counter-protest the same day. At least four people were injured in clashes between protesters and police as the rival protests met.

The rally denouncing Forza Nuova (New Force) gathered some 500 demonstrators who marched through the city carrying a banner â€œBologna free and anti-fascist."
